Wonka Wins 2 Gold Awards at the OC-Ad Awards Stateside

Neil Duerden has won two Gold awards at the OC Advertising Awards stateside for the Wonka Ice Cream Van art work he created.

His illustrations became a hybrid of Illustrator and Photoshop and were created at real size at 300dpi. The detail of the psychedelic artwork is astoundingly intricate; the pipes all interconnect to create a productive and whimsical feel to the experiential project that is perfect for the brand.

Earlier in the year the Van won a Platinum Award from the Creativity International Awards competition as well as these latest two Gold.

Shaking stuff up in Russia with Easy Jet and Kinetic Mesh

Kinetic Mesh was commissioned to create a 3D model Russian dolly cocktail mixer for the front cover of Easy Jet’s in-flight magazine this March.

The theme of the month is promoting the fact that Easy Jet Airlines now fly to Moscow, so the art directors wanted to create a dynamic and bold front cover to introduce the new destination. They were so please with Steve’s work that they also decided to devote page 8 of the magazine to Kinetic Mesh’s craft and his working experiences of illustration thus far.

Creating Characters in Comfy Patchwork?

In Ad-land these days, many brands are exploring their own heritage as a way of tapping into the nostalgia we all associate with certain products. The best way to present & to share content directly with a consumer is in a social way & the functionality of Facebook timeline now allows brand’s to better describe their own story. Ogilvy One London has commissioned jelly’s own talents, Tom Connell & Neil Duerden to illustrate some complex photo shop stills of the Comfort-characters we have all grown to love.

Advertising agency, Ogilvy New York approached our creative Argentinian collective, Plenty to provide CGI elements for a IBM‘s latest Cloud campaign, featuring a multi-level, 3D building that would represent the global mid-size business community.
